The Kids

My name is Julie, and I’ve had the honor of hosting the Kafarna family’s fundraiser for nearly two years. Before the genocide, the Kafarna family lived close together in their beloved city of Beit Hanoun. They gathered weekly, sharing meals, laughter, and time with one another. The family includes nine adults, each with a profession — from translators to small business owners — all striving to build a life rooted in community and dignity. That life was shattered.
Their home — along with the entire city — has been destroyed. The family has been displaced ever since.
Today, they’re fighting to survive.Your donation helps keep 13 children in the Kafarna family alive. These children have already lost so much. Now, four of them under the age of five are in urgent need of infant formula and diapers — just to survive.🍼 Formula costs up to $150
🧷 Diapers cost up to $200
(including commission and transfer fees)

Every dollar counts. Every moment matters.

Updates

October 14th,The family’s hometown of Beit Hanoun remains in ruins, but your generosity has continued to bring them food, medicine, and dignity through the hardest months. Because their home is located beyond the withdrawal lines, they will need to remain in the south for the foreseeable future.Your continued support helps cover Jomaa’s medical care — the treatment that allows him to move, little by little, each day.Today’s photo update is a drawing Rama made of herself as a doctor — a reminder that even in the midst of loss, her dreams are still alive.Thank you for standing with them and for reminding this family that they are not forgotten. 🕊️
